Relocatable Homes NZ — built to move, delivered to your site

Our relocatable homes are built off site in our New Zealand yard on a transportable chassis or skid system, then trucked to your property and craned into place. Because they are not permanently fixed, they can be moved again in the future — giving you flexibility if your circumstances change.

Relocatable homes: common questions

What is a relocatable home?
A relocatable home is built off site on a transportable chassis or skid system, then trucked to your property and craned onto prepared foundations. Because it is not permanently fixed, it can be moved again in the future — subject to access and council requirements at the new site.
What is the difference between relocatable and transportable homes?
The terms are often used interchangeably. Both are built off site and delivered by truck. 'Relocatable' emphasises that the home can be moved again later, while 'transportable' focuses on the delivery method. All our homes are built to be transportable and can be relocated if needed.
Can a relocatable home be moved again later?
Yes. Because the home is built on a skid or chassis system and lifted onto piles, it can be relocated in future, subject to vehicle access, crane positioning and council requirements at the new site.
How much does a relocatable home cost in NZ?
We quote three clear options inc GST: home price ex factory, delivered to site, and turn key excluding local services. The right option depends on how much of the site work you want us to handle.
Do relocatable homes need a building consent?
Yes, in almost all cases. Council consent covers the home, foundations and services. We supply the plans and specifications you need for your application.

Can a relocatable home fit your site?

Tell us where your property is and we'll assess truck access, crane positioning and the site works your build would need. Takes about two minutes.
